The Power of Performance\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Yes, even in an age in which we place people orientation above task orientation, performance is needed. But what is performance actually? In simple terms, for us it is about maintaining a high level of performance<\/strong> as an individual or together as a team over a long period of time and achieving above-average results<\/strong>. We’re not talking about overwork or burnout here, of course, but primarily about efficiency and effectiveness.<\/p>\n

The definition is probably no surprise, but it begs the question: how does this work in reality and how does my team become performance-oriented?<\/strong> To give you a better insight into how you can increase your own performance, that of your team or even your company, we introduce you to the three associated skills. With your performance orientation you are expert when it comes to setting goals, prioritizing or thinking digitally.<\/p>\n

More Performance with just 3 Skills<\/span><\/h3>\n

“think digital”<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You don’t have to think in 1011011001 to acquire this skill. What we mean here is a certain understanding of the digital world, digital business models and the resulting benefits for your company<\/strong>. Being able to understand the diversity of the digital now and be prepared for the digital future is not just C-level work, but can also improve the performance of your own work steps. One thing is for sure: digitalization affects every industry and every business<\/strong>, whether you offer a trading app for cryptocurrencies or sell gummy bears.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0“prioritize”<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Since we are already on the topic of gummy bears, who hasn’t experienced the difficult decision between red or green gummy bears? In business, there are countless, often very important decisions to be made and the ‘right’ option to be chosen. To keep your focus on the relevant tasks or decisions, prioritization is needed<\/strong>. And yes, you can learn how to prioritize consciously and thus increase your performance (but of course also the performance of the team or company).<\/span><\/p>\n

“set goals”<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You have thought digitally, you prioritized the right tasks. But that doesn’t mean performance is just going to happen now. It takes goals, and well thought out and defined goals at that.\u00a0 They form the basis for performance in the company: They set the direction and make success measurable. The skill “set goals” creates security in recognizing the right goals, pursuing them sustainably and defining a process that supports their achievement<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing is certain: If you look at companies that have performed exceptionally well over the years, one factor they almost always display is this: a strong culture of performance orientation.<\/strong><\/p>\n
