  • actively creating the architecture of our leadership platform.
  • designing and implementing efficient, scalable and highly-available backend services and APIs.
  • translating our leadership concepts and journeys into code.
  • collaborating closely with our frontend developers.
  • supporting operations of our platform.

 

You fit perfectly into our team because you …

  • are optimistic and a team player.
  • are open-minded, curious and proactive.
  • have 3+ years of experience in backend development.
  • have great joy on developing highly-available, robust, maintainable HTTP and REST APIs. Experience with Ruby (on Rails) is a plus.
  • have experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
  • have experience with the architecture of scalable backend systems.
  • are interested in the security and operations of backend systems.
  • are fluent in English.

 

The Office

…is where we are and yes, home office and mobile office are part of our philosophy. We have offices in Vienna (weXelerate) and Leonding (Upper Austria) but are also happy if you become part of our team remotely.

 

The working time

…is as flexible as your work location. Apart from five weekly meetings (and yes, that includes the stand-ups), you are free to schedule your work time as it fits into your day.

 

Money

…plays a role, of course. As a startup, we offer you many advantages – such as a very exciting, dynamic working environment in which you are significantly involved in all processes and can actively participate – but are still somewhat limited financially. Nevertheless, fair payment and a good work-life-balance are important to us. As a RAILS backend developer ​​you will receive a gross annual salary starting at €42,000, depending on your talent, motivation, and experience.
