As a Full Stack Web Developer you can play to your strengths and contribute significantly to the following areas:

  • Further development of our skill development platform. This means you will be in charge of shaping our architecture from front to back and as part of the team you will take responsibility for the efficiency and scalability of the product.
  • Ideating and planning new features.
  • Conceptualizing and designing our interactive content together with our brilliant content team.
  • Operate our platform.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • You are open, curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • At least three years of work experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Knowledge of frontend frameworks are nice to have.
  • A relevant education is an advantage, but we prefer to be convinced by your commitment and experience.
  • You have joy in developing highly-available, robust, maintainable HTTP and REST APIs. Experience in Ruby (on Rails) is a plus.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Interest in the security and operations of systems.
  • You might not be native speaker, but have a good grasp of English and can contribute to a discussion.

The Office

…is where we are and yes, home office and mobile office are part of our philosophy. We have offices in Vienna (weXelerate) and Leonding (Upper Austria) but are also happy if you become part of our team remotely.

The working time

…is as flexible as your work location. Apart from five weekly meetings (and yes, that includes the stand-ups), you are free to schedule your work time as it fits into your day.

Money

…plays a role, of course. As a startup, we offer you many advantages – such as a very exciting, dynamic working environment in which you are significantly involved in all processes and can actively participate – but are still somewhat limited financially. Nevertheless, fair payment and a good work-life-balance are important to us. As a full stack web developer ​​you will receive a gross annual salary starting at €45,000, depending on your talent, motivation, and experience.
